Summary[]
Ryan begins grief eating to cope with his wife's death. Lauren introduces her boyfriend to the group.
Plot[]
At a restaurant, the Transitions group crashes Lauren's dinner with her boyfriend. When he knows all their names, they realize that she's been revealing their secrets to him. They ask her to bring him in and give them all the dirt on her, which he obliges. The group realizes and teases Lauren that he loves her more than she loves him. They back off but Lauren struggles to define her commitment to him.
Meanwhile, Ryan has begun compulsively eating to cope with Janie's death. He refuses to admit that he has a problem, going so far as hosting radio shows with food in his mouth. The group eventually forces him to over-indulge one evening to get over his bad habit.
Ryan also tries to get to the bottom of why Danny is such a happy guy, even though his life is horrible. Danny reveals that he has created "Harborville" in his mind -- a 1950s town where everything is perfect. When Danny snaps and become super grouchy again, Ryan coaxes him back to Harborville.
